Scope of works
Crane erection and placement of precast wall units, including establishment of exclusion zones, banksman control, and temporary propping pending sealing works.
Access / egress
Site entrance via Quayside Approach. One goods vehicle on site at a time due to restricted access. Work area adjacent to existing water treatment structures.
PPE required
- Orange Hi-Vis Class 3 — all times
- Hard hat with chin strap — all times
- Safety boots EN20345 — all times
- Gloves and safety glasses — task specific

- 50 t mobile crane with certified lift plan
- Tag lines, lifting accessories in test

Site induction and briefing
All personnel inducted to Harbour View Quay. RAMS briefed and signed before works start.

Establish exclusion zone
Set out crane radius with barriers and banksman control. Confirm weather limits.

Lift and place units
Follow lift plan. Tag lines used. No personnel under suspended loads.

Secure and demobilise
Units propped/sealed as design. Clear exclusion zone and update site diary.
Emergency procedures
Dial 999 for emergency services. Gas emergency 0800 111 999. Nearest A&E: Royal Berkshire Hospital. Site manager maintains first-aid cover and muster point at the compound.
